I've been a fan of the KP since MK1 and I went through all incarnations.
Each of them has surprisingly different characters from each
other but I can't have all 3 of them so I usually just stick
with the current model.
I haven't used the sampling function at all because I'm pretty
happy using just the effects on board but I do need to maximize
the features eventually. I find the tempo adjust very useful
to sync it externally with the sound source.
Common effects I use are the filters, dub delay, loop, and
the sfx synth.
The KP3 is well worth your money for live as well as in the
studio so grab one if you're looking for an effects box!
