From the live chillout nights to ripping the dancefloor with machines, the live aspect has always pretty much defined the whole silverfilter experience. It has consistently been an avenue in bringing electronic music to the people beyond the likes of vinyl, CDs, or MP3s.

silverfilter has been at the forefront of 'live' electronic music locally and played a role in spreading the craft to a wider audience through his various shows over the years taking on different roles and formats keeping things fresh and relevant.

The solo set sees silverfilter bringing his machines together for a performance, creating a whole set live as the night progresses. With live tweaking, triggering, and button-pushing tied up with effects, every track takes shape on the spot doing away with just the plug-and-play idea, taking dance music to the next level.

The guitar set takes things a notch higher by integrating his vocals on top with guitar playing making things more interesting and a tad bit musical in the form of songs. Two guys with tunes, rocking with a guitar, and a synth light show surely does sound like a rocking show.

The beauty of the live set is how it promotes original compositions in a way that maintans a level of technicality in how it is presented and delivered. Coming from a band background, the "performance" aspect has always been important and electronic music shouldn't be any different.
